2005 Dixie Chopper XXWD 5000

The machine is very heavy and solid. It has had numerous small problems, mostly due to vibration, (ie: bolts falling out, brackets cracking, and things loosening up). The diesel engine is a 3cyl turbo, and vibrates quite a bit.

It is, however, the most powerful ZTR I've ever ran. It is decent on fuel, and the hydraulics are very strong. I haven't had any major issues with it.

I do not like the seat safety system, it needs improvement. Cooling system is marginal---it runs very hot for a liquid cooled diesel in heavy growth.

The big 72" mower deck cuts well most of the time, and rarely scalps, a pleasant suprise for such a large deck.

Overall, I really like the machine, and Dixie Choppers in general. I would probably buy it again.
