Everride Mowers: Review of the Zero Turn Rider
The Everride mowers were compared to other the top zero turn riders in the following categories...
Everride was recently bought by the Ariens company. Ariens plans to continue manufacturing Everrides under the Ariens company umbrella. This could be good due to the size and good reputation of Ariens. Time will tell.
Cut: Rating B+
Everride mowers cut as well as the other zero turn riders. However, the clippings are not re-cut from the first chamber to the last. This often requires a double cut to mulch clippings to prevent leaving clumps on the grass.
Durability: Rating B+
Very solid machine. Similar to Hustler in design and build. Only issue was belts burning up, but that problem seems to have been fixed.
Handling and Balance: Rating B+
Very well balanced machine. Very short overall length…80 inches. This is a huge plus for maneuverability and when space is an issue on a trailer. Very fast. Reaches 13 mph. Comes with large hydro pumps for a smooth, fast ride.
Available Accessories: Rating B
Everride is a relatively new company. The only available accessory is a vacuum, which is excellent. Hopefully, the future will bring more accessories.
Maintenance and Ingenuity: Rating B
The Everride mowers are similar to Hustler in that they require little daily maintenance. The company appears committed to research and design. They will probably be a major name in commercial mowing in the future.
