Fradan Blower Review
The Fradan blower was compared to other top brands in the following categories...
| Brand || Blowing || Durability || Handling || Maintenance |
| || Power || || & Balance || & Ingenuity |
| Billy Goat || A- || B+ || B+ || B+ |
| Fradan || B+ || A- || A- || A- |
| Little Wonder || A- || B+ || B+ || B+ |
Blowing Power: B+
These units put out some real power. With three different models, you can choose your fan size and power. The air discharge is very close to the ground, similar to Little Wonder, minus the split air stream opening.
The Frandan push blower is a very tough, simple machine. There are little to no problems. The company is small, but really backs its products.
Handling & Balance: A-
The ergonomics of this unit are impressive. Many call it a “low” blower due to its compact feel. It is very easy to push.
Their self propelled units are longer field tested than the other brands because they have been out for several years.
Maintenance & Ingenuity: A-
The “low” blower feel is very comfortable. The dual front wheels are a nice balancing feature. Fradan and Billy Goat blow off asphalt very well, while the Little Wonder shines at blowing off turf. Although, all three do well in both applications.
I’d like to see Fradan and Billy Goat come up with some type of split air stream. Overall, it’s hard to go wrong with any of these three push blowers.
