Note: Both the Kawasaki 59CC and Maruyama 59CC use the same motor. Since they are essentially the same machine, they receive the same ratings.

Weight to Power Ratio: B+

The Kawasaki motors are quite powerful and lightweight. A bit less power than the Redmax 7001, but adequate.

Comfort: B+

At 20lbs and compact, they are comfortable to use while supplying good power.

Durability: B+

These are tough motors. Kawasaki has always made durable motors and these blowers are no exception.

Ease of Start: A

A basic 2-cycle engine. Starts and warms up quickly. Does not require strength much to pull start.

Value for Money: A

Can be bought for as low as $400 depending on location. Great price for a great blower.

Kawasaki Backpack Blowers on Ebay

Here are the Kawasaki backpack blowers that are currently listed for sale on Ebay. I’ve found some great deals there. And I've sold a ton of old equipment through it.

If you aren't already a member of eBay, you need to go to the registration page before you can bid, buy, or sell anything.
