The Kawasaki KGT27A string trimmer is relatively new to the market. It has a lot of potential coming from a reputable company.

Weight to Power: A+

Very lightweight and powerful. It leads the field in this area.

Comfort: A

Very smooth and lightweight. An impressive unit so far.

Durability: B-

I had two units last season. Both worked great initially, but both units developed nagging carburetor problems.

Ease of Start: B-

Again, they started out great. However, after a few months, they became hard to start.

Value for Money: A

It can be purchased for less than the other string trimmers above. However, a good dealer is essential. There have been update kits that are free at your local Kawasaki dealer. The first ones off the assembly string had a rough start. The later ones have supposedly been improved. I really liked this trimmer for the first few months, so I will retest new ones this year. Keep you posted.

Kawasaki Trimmers on Ebay

Here are the Kawasaki trimmers that are currently listed for sale on Ebay. I’ve found some great deals there. And I've sold a ton of old equipment through it.

If you aren't already a member of eBay, you need to go to the registration page before you can bid, buy, or sell anything.
