Note: Both the Maruyama 59CC and the Kawasaki 59CC use the same Kawasaki motor. Since they are essentially the same machine, they receive the same ratings.

The Kawasaki motors are quite powerful and lightweight. A bit less power than the Redmax 7001, but adequate.

At 20lbs and compact, they are comfortable to use while supplying good power.

Durability: B+

These are tough motors. Kawasaki has always made durable motors and these blowers are no exception.

Ease of Start: A

A basic 2-cycle engine. Starts and warms up quickly. Does not require strength much to pull start.

Value for Money: A

Can be bought for as low as $400 depending on location. Great price for a great blower.
