Cuts well. Wright recently added a mulching kit that works well. Good vacuum. There is more blowout than the others. Overall, it is a good cutting unit.
Durability: Rating A
A very tough, well built machine. Its fixed-deck design, has less parts than the other standers. Less parts equates to less things to breakdown. This mower can really take abuse and just keeps on cutting.
Handling and Balance: Rating A
This mower is shorter and more compact than the others. This makes it more maneuverable. It is more stable on hills than the other standers. The hydros are very responsive.
Maintenance and Ingenuity: Rating B
Maintenance is simple and straightforward. However, their ingenuity is lacking. First, a floating deck is not available. Second, changing the cutting height is more difficult than the other standers. Finally, the operator platform is not spring-loaded. This lack of suspension gives a rough ride. These shortcomings are the reason for the low mark.
*Note: If you are looking for a 52” or 60” stander, choose the Everride Warrior, Great Dane Super Surfer, or John Deere Quik-Trak. Any of them is a good choice due to the floating-deck and spring-loaded platform. For stander mowers under 52”, choose the Wright Warrior for its nimbleness.
