Bobcat Predator-Pro 2011 Mower Review

by Mike
(Oceanport, NJ, USA)

Not at all happy! Front flat free tires that go flat? They are recalled but the new ones are still tearing up lawns. Just reseeded three and the complaints keep coming.

Belts breaking after 2 weeks and having problems with right hydraulic pump/wheel motor. This is the big one that isn't warranteed because Bobcat claims it is because of misuse. Funny, same workers and my Grasshopper had over 7800 hrs without this problem. Predator-Pro has slightly over 200hrs.

The hydraulic pump/wheel motor makes it almost impossible to go in reverse on the right side and will cost well over a thousand to replace if not $1500.

And as far as going forward, it is almost impossible to keep straight even at slow speeds which why else would I be investing in a rider but for speed.
