After buying the Fast Trak in March, we did not use it until April. When mowing at the 1 1/2 inch mark it was moving over two inches. The deck was unlevel after it was delivered. We measured and and it was 3 inches on one side and 4 inches on the other and highest level when lowered it measured 3 inches and 4 inches.
Also, when the blades were engaged, it made a horrible sound as if bearings were going out.
The Fast Trak had one hour on it when we bought it. It was to be serviced to make sure everything was as it should be. We had them pick-up the Fast Trak and they told us that the leveling of the deck was on us and they did not understand about the noise that we explained and the the bearings were okay. When the deck is placed in the 1 1/2 inch notch it still measures 2 inches. We were told that the blade cut on a slant towards the front and that the cutting height changes according to who is on the mower and the tire pressure. This sounds like a lot of double talk. They charged us a pick up and delivery charge, and tried to say that we had 26 hours on the Fast Trak. I corrected him as I was mowing with the mower and when I put it in the garage it had 2 hours on it.
We are not pleased with the mower or the dealer. He made it very clear that because my husband was irrate with him, that he was not going to accomodate him in any way. He stated it was his dealership and he could choose who he would not charge and who he would. My husband refused to pay.
