Also I forgot to mention that the deck on the Raptor is too shallow and every time you mow (even when grass is totally dry) you will have to clean out the deck by hand.my mother-in-law bought the Raptor as well when I bought mine and she decided to keep her's..she lives next door to us and we usually now together... Every time we now I have to scrape out her deck...needless to say I have learned to HATE the Raptor!

Hustler builds awesome mowers and they also build JUNK mowers...the Raptor is proof.. Owned one for a lil over a month and took it back for a full Refund and picked up a Hustler Fastrak SD which I am totally in love with... DO NOT BUY A RAPTOR.. if you want a cheaper mower the Husquvarna is a better mower at this level and if you compare the two side by side at Lowe's or Home Depo.it's rather obvious..the Raptor's mowers mower deck mounts are very low quality and bend like a pop can...trust me I KNOW!!
