John Deere 960 R 2013 model Mower Review

New model of mower this year. Had a JD 797 before and this is what replaces it.

Loved old mower, hate new one with a passion.

Engine noise is outrageous, engine heat comes though the seat like the seat has a heater in it.

Operator ride will beat you up it is so rough.

Fuel usage is outrageous, burns 2.2 gallon per hour, at nearly $4 gallon that's only $8.75/hr plus someone has to drive it.

Any slope at all, mower ends up at bottom of hill. Old mower--I would put on any hill that no one else would mow.
