Gravely Mower: Review of the Pro-Ride 200
The Gravely mower (Pro-Ride 200 model) was compared to other top brands in the following categories...
This Gravely Mower (Pro-Ride 200 model) was formerly the Everride Warrior. The color of the mower was changed from yellow to Red. The Everride company was recently bought by the Ariens/Gravely company. Ariens plans to continue manufacturing Everrides under the Ariens/Gravely company umbrella. This could be good due to the size and good reputation of the Ariens/Gravely company. Time will tell. Cut: Rating B+ This mower cut as well as the other zero turn riders. However, the clippings are not re-cut from the first chamber to the last. This often requires a double cut to mulch clippings to prevent leaving clumps on the grass. Durability: Rating B+ Very solid machine. Similar to Hustler in design and build. Only issue was belts burning up, but that problem seems to have been fixed. Handling and Balance: Rating B+ Very well balanced machine. Very short overall length…80 inches. This is a huge plus for maneuverability and when space is an issue on a trailer. Very fast. Reaches 13 mph. Comes with large hydro pumps for a smooth, fast ride. Available Accessories: Rating B At the moment, the only available accessory is a vacuum, which is excellent. Hopefully, the future will bring more accessories. Maintenance and Ingenuity: Rating B This mower is similar to Hustler in that they require little daily maintenance. However, the unit has been unchanged for several years now. I’d like to see some updates to see that this model will be around for awhile.
